EXPERIENCE CROATIA IN 9 DAYS
Day 1: Zagreb
After your arrival in Zagreb we will transfer you to the hotel. After check in we will go to lunch for a chance to try some of the local specialties. We will meet a local guide to see the sites (the Cathedral, the Lotršćak tower, Zrinjevac park, Croatian National Thetre, Grič tower, ...) After sightseeing you will have some free time for rest or to pursue your own interests. Later we will have a traditional Croatian dinner.Spending the night.
Day 2: Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes - Pula
Breakfast. After check out from hotel we set off to the Plitvice Lakes national park, the oldest and most visited national park in Croatia. After seeing its sites,we will dine together, and then travel to Pula, where we will spend the night.
Day 3: Pula
Breakfast. Free morning. Enjoy our beautiful beaches, local cuisine, go shopping or persue your interests.
* Alternatively, we leave at 8 a.m. towads Fažana, and arrive at 8:30 a.m. The ferry taking us to Brijuni leaves at 9 a.m. , with the expected time of arrival at the Brijuni national park at 9.30 a.m. Sightseeing on Brijuni will be conducted by the tour guides of national park. We return by boat at approximately 2 p.m.
After returning to Pula, we will have a tour of the city (Pula`s Amphitheatre, Forum, Temple of Augustus, The Gate of Hercules, Twin Gates,The fortrres of Kaštel, Arch of the Sergii, etc.) and try some local delicacies at dinner. We spend the night in Pula.
Day 4: Pula – Rijeka – Nin - Zadar
Breakfast. We leave for Rijeka after chech out from hotel. Rijeka is Croatia’s biggest harbor and third largest city. You will have some free time in the city center. Continue of pleasant ride towards the town of Nin, arriving there in the afternoon hours. Sightseeing throughout the town, visiting Museum of Nin Antiquities, tasting homemade specialties, witnessing the world's smallest cathedral are just some secrets this little town has to offer. In the evening, according to the arrangement, we continue towards Zadar where we will spend the night.
Day 5: Zadar
Breakfast. We meet with a local tour guide who will take us to see the Cathedral of St. Anastasia and its bell tower, the Church of St. Donatus, the Sea organ, the Monument to the Sun, the city walls and the old city core. You have free time for lunch and other activities following the sightseeing. We advise you amazing beaches, the local gastronomical offer, the cultural and historical heritage, shopping, or any other form of entertainment that Europe's Best Destination in 2016 provides. We meet at 8 p.m. for dinner and wine tasting.
Day 6: Zadar – Krka - Šibenik
We check out of the hotel after breakfast and leave for the Krka national park. We will see the sights of the national park, the ethno village, the weaver’s workshop, and the old mills. We then take a boat ride toward Skradin and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes. Some free time is provided before departure. We leave for Šibenik in the afternoon. Short sightseeing, after which we will check into the hotel. Spending the night.
Day 7: Šibenik – Split
Breakfast. We check out of the hotel after breakfast and leave for Split. We meet with a local tour guide at the Church of St Francis for the sightseeing of Diocletian’s Palace, the Palace basement, the cathedral, the Vestibulum, the Peristil, the statue of Gregory of Nin, and we will take a stroll down Split’s promenade. Next, you will have some free time and the opportunity to visit the famous Bačvice beach. Dinner at the hotel. Spending the night.
Day 8: Split
Breakfast. You will have this whole day for yourself. Enjoy our beautiful beaches, local cuisine, go shopping or find your own fun in the second largest city in Croatia and largest Dalmatian city. We will stay overnight.
Day 9: Split – Dubrovnik
Breakfast. We check out of the hotel after breakfast and leave for Dubrovnik. We meet with a local tour guide at the Pile gate. Sightseeing of the Pile gate, Onofrio’s fountain, the Rector’s palace, the Franciscan pharmacy of the little brothers, the walls and towers of Dubrovnik, the Minčeta tower, the Aquarium. Free time until returning flight.
